Subscriptions

Ember Focus offers optional premium subscriptions to unlock additional features. Current subscription plans are:


Billing and payment processing: All payments and billing are handled exclusively by Apple’s in-app purchase system (StoreKit / App Store). Ember Focus does not collect, process, or store your credit card or payment information.


Role of RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage and synchronize subscription status across devices. RevenueCat verifies purchase receipts and provides the app with subscription status using an anonymous App User identifier. RevenueCat does not receive your payment card details from Apple. Please review RevenueCat’s privacy policy linked above for details.


Auto-renewal, free trials & cancellations: Subscriptions are auto-renewable and will renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the current period. The free 1-week trial for the yearly plan will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime via your Apple ID subscription settings (not from within the App Store listings).


Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact Apple Support or use the App Store’s report a problem flow.


Data collected for subscription management: We only store minimal subscription-related information necessary to enable premium features in the app (for example, a local flag or expiration date). The app does not collect billing information or full personal payment data. RevenueCat may store an anonymous identifier and receipt information to validate subscriptions; please refer to RevenueCat’s policy for more detail.


Service Providers

Ember Focus relies on a limited number of trusted third-party services in order to provide core functionality:

These services may have access to limited information required to perform their role (for example, purchase history or iCloud account identifiers). They are contractually bound not to use this information for any purpose other than providing their services within Ember Focus.


Log Data

Ember Focus does not collect or store any log data from your device. We do not track IP addresses, device details, or app usage statistics. Any errors that occur remain on your device unless you choose to share them with us voluntarily.
